Thank You Mr. Postman

Well I got a big treat today in the mail. First, the UPS man delivered a big surprise. My husband over in Iraq bought me some flowers and had them delivered. There it was a box of 18 big beautiful red roses. My husband is such a thoughtful loving man. I can't wait for him to come home. That will be the best day ever, but the flowers were so wonderful while he is away. Thanks Honey!

Well secondly the postman delivered my swap package from my partner Heidi. It came so beautifully wrapped. There was so much wonderful stuff in there. The best of them all was the ornament....( well it was an ornament swap...lol). It is this beautiful Christmas tree in a glass ball that plugs into the Christmas lights on the tree and changed colors. It is totally right up my alley. I can't forget all the other wonderful stuff she made. From the cool Christmas tree, to the wish necklace and the Merry Christmas banner to the towel. It is all so wonderful. To top it all off she even sent each of my three kids something. Which went above and beyond what the swap required and they loved them. HEIDI, THANKS A BUNCH!

Goodies Off In The Mail

Well my swap package is off in the mail. I hope you enjoy it Heidi! I had so much fun making it and gathering things for it. I wanted to also thank Monica at Home is Where Your Heart is for hosting it.

My oldest son Noah had his 8th B-day this past weekend. What can I say, It was a kids birthday. It was full of kids getting hurt and friends fighting and running around like little monkeys. But they had fun and that is what counts.

I hope everyone has a HAPPY TURKEY DAY!

Nothing Much....Well I Guess A Lot!

There hasn't been too much going on in our house lately, well except for school, football, play dates and shopping....lol. I have been working on my " Deck the halls" swap stuff lately and almost done. My youngest son has learned to crawl like overnight and with the recall on Aqua dots which my two older children love I guess it has been a little crazy. I don't think I ever have much going on but when the week is over and i don't have time to sit for more then 5 minutes, I guess I do manage to keep myself and family busy. The count down continues 7-8 weeks left.
I will leave you with a picture of my husband I just got a few weeks ago.

Happy Holidays

Since I'm a little late for a Happy Halloween post, I decided to wish everyone Happy Holidays. We had a good Halloween, as the kids and I went with a big group of our neighbors and friends. We are very much looking forward to the other holidays to come. Noah my oldest sons birthday is next weekend, he will be 8. Then we are going to see all of my family in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving. Then of course we have Christmas our favorite time of year. Then a week or two after Christmas we get the best present of them all, I get my husband back and the children get there Dad back. We can't wait get them started, and Halloween was just the beginning. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I will leave you with a picture of my youngest David William (7months) learning how to crawl. He looks so much like his dad in this picture.
